Why the split matters: the Semiconductor segment is a high-beta business where orders collapse when WFE rolls over. Electronics & Packaging is steadier, carrying consumable revenue that keeps flowing as long as fabs run and riding structural themes like AI server substrates and advanced packaging. But in-sourcing has limits.
